All the cuzzins

I don't get the opportunity to see my extended family very often. My two cousins are married and live out of the area, my uncle and his wife are always busy, and when everyone is home for the holidays, we are usually so over-scheduled that we don't get to visit. But for this Easter, everyone was in town! Mom invited everyone over to her place for some BBQ and to meet Caleb.

My uncle and his wife and mother-in-law came, along with both cousins and their spouses. We spent most of the day inside with Robby, Katie, and their super cute little girl, Brenna. I cannot believe how much she has grown! She is absolutely precious! We all ended up outside, and dad let Brenna climb in his Shriners car, a little '69 Camaro. I wish he'd had it charged, we could have driven it around! We also sat on the deck and just chatted...Katie is expecting her second little one in a couple of months, Elizabeth and Rob (the sweet newlyweds) were talking about Rob's job...it was just a wonderful day of being with family. And, of course, Caleb got passed around and loved on by everyone. What is it about a baby that is so irresistible? Every woman that sees a baby just has to have a turn snuggling. =)

Miss Brenna at the wheel of dad's car; she really enjoyed honking the horn, lol

Brenna had been loving on Sammie. (Isn't she the cutest little girl?)

Saying goodbye. Who knows when we'll all be together again. (And, as a side note, I LOVE that Rob is so sweet with Brenna!)
What a truly wonderful day with the family. Yet another shining example of how important family truly is.
