First Bath

Caleb was overdue for a real bath, but we had to wait for his cord to fall off. It finally did at Manda's shower, so we were able to give little man a good scrubbing in the kitchen sink.

We got a neat little seat with a cushion on it so we wouldn't drop our tiny little jellybean in the water. =)
I was expecting a fussy bath session, but Caleb did pretty well! Someone gave us this little "tummy turtle," which is basically a big wash cloth (shaped like a turtle, of course) that is made to keep their tummy warm and cover the hot spots. Caleb was nice and quiet, as long as he was covered and in the water. He was not a fan of having his hair rinsed or being pulled out of the warm water to get dried off. Here's a few pics of his first bath adventure. He's SO much tinier than the turtle, lol!
Not quite sure about this...

Pouty face, but not fussing

Hey, that feels kinda nice, Mom!

He looks so tiny

Don't mess with the hair!

Are we done yet?

Rinsing with the ODU football cup, which Caleb could almost fit into =)

Ahhhhhh! I'm cold! Dry me faster!!!

Clean, warm, snuggly, smells good...first bath, success!
