Maggie Mae's baby

So we had been bringing home laundry from the hospital so that Maggie Mae would know Caleb's scent. She thoroughly enjoyed smelling his dirty clothes. And when we brought him home and introduced them, she was very excited to finally meet the little stinker!

And although he's thrown off her routine and stolen her thunder, Caleb has become Maggie's baby. She is very protective. She growled at the neighbor's dog when he sniffed Caleb's stroller. She checks on him every time she comes in from a potty break. And wherever he is, she's not far away. Case in point...
Mags give Caleb a kiss on his head after we bring him home

Mags takes up space on his Boppy lounger while Caleb gets his first bottle at home

She's gotta be close

Mags supervises Daddy as he feeds Caleb the first time

Mags had to join us in the rocker in the nursery while Daddy was setting up the Angel Mat

They were both leaning against my leg on the couch

"What? He's not using his pillow!"
I'm glad she has adjusted well. She loves her baby and is protective. When he cries, she will bark and try to lick his hands until he stops. When I am changing him on the changing table, Mags sits on the rug in front of his crib. If he whimpers, she will stop what she's doing and check on him. Maggie Mae is a good big sister...but I wonder what will happen when he starts to crawl! =)
